Beef and Potato Pie
One of the best comfort foods I've ever made
Equipment
- 3 Pie Dishes
- 1 Large Saute Pan
- 1 Bag of Pie Weight Beans
Ingredients
- 6 Pie Crusts
- 2.275 lbs Ground Beef (15/20)
- 1 Yellow Onion
- 4 Carrots
- 340 grams Frozen Peas
- 2 Russet Potatoes
- 3 tbsp Beef Stock
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Stock
- 6 tbsp Brown Gravy
- 3 tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Egg Beaten
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes for 10 mins2 Russet Potatoes
- Fry the onion, carrots for 5-10 mins1 Yellow Onion, 4 Carrots
- Add the Beef, fry till brown.2.275 lbs Ground Beef (15/20)
- Add stock, Worcester, Garlic, Black Pepper and Peas.3 tbsp Beef Stock, 3 tbsp Worchestershire Sauce, 2 tsp Black Pepper, 340 grams Frozen Peas
- Simmer for 20 minutes until thick
- Bake Blind pie crust with foil and pie weight beans for 20 minutes at 400F6 Pie Crusts
- Add filling and top crust.
- Baste the crust in a beaten egg.1 Egg
- Cook for 25-30 mins.
